Brussels Residents Tweet Out Optimistic Cat Memes In Response To City Wide Terror Threat

In National unsettling news, Brussels, Belgium was issued the highest level terror alert this past Saturday (11/21), and advised citizens to stay inside as a police-imposed lockdown took hold of the city. Citizens were urged not to use social media that connected them to their whereabouts, as one of the Paris attackers was/is suspected to be on the loose in Belgium.

Upon police request for citizens to stay inside and not tweet their whereabouts, even under threat of attack, the people of Belgium began posting cat pictures on Twitter.
