Caturdays With Thomas: Week 3, Ma Went Out Of Town - Without Me!
I had to skip last week's "Caturdays With Thomas" because Ma abandoned me to go to the BlogPaws conference and took her computer with her!! I apologize on her behalf because I HATE disappointing my loyal fans! Harrumph!
Now that's clear exactly WHOSE FAULT it was that I did not make my weekly Saturday appearance, let's move on, shall we?
Paws up if your purrent owes you treats!!!
I was SO BORED while Ma was gone because usually she's home with me all day. She does this thing called "working from home" which sounds like a big scam to me, but hey, the chicken treats keep rolling in so I don't complain!
WHAT? I was just excited that someone was there who could open the treat bag!!!
While Ma was gone, I had to entertain myself while Dad was at work. One of Ma's friends came over to check up on me and gave me some treats and apparently, she took this heinous pic of me and sent it to Ma! (I'm only just now seeing this and Ma has control over uploading the pictures for this column so...)
The rest of the week was kinda blah, I slept a lot and annoyed Dad a lot. But the real fun started when Ma returned back from her trip with MILLIONS OF TREATS AND TOYS FOR ME!!!!!! She says she's going to donate some and give some to her friends but I WON'T LET HER.
The good stuff was on this side...
Mom says that this toy (2 days later) is nowhere to be found but I know that I really batted it underneath the couch.
I could smell the catnip from a mile away!
A few days later, a whole new box of goodies arrived via the brown truck (Editor's Note: he means UPS) which was exciting because: a) Ma went out a door she never uses to bring the package into my apartment, and b) it was filled to the brim with MORE treats for ME!!!!
Ma would say that I started getting real crazy around the box, but I just say that I was using my spidey senses for good, not evil. I just KNEW there was chicken in dat box!
I smellz de chicken...
HALP.

So basically I forgave Ma for leaving me for a week since she made up for it with all the treats and catnip toys. I've been logging a lot more lap time though, because I don't know when she's going to leave me again! What a jerk.
